→ By Car: 76 kilometers / 55min via the A4/E70 Highway

→ By Public Transportations:

  • Option 1: Express Bus + Train

  • Step 1: Airport to Venezia Mestre Train Station

    • Outside the arrivals terminal, board either the ATVO Mestre Express (Line 25) or the ACTV Bus Line 15 - both approx. every 15min

    • The bus journey takes about 20 to 25 minutes. Tickets cost approximately €10.

  • Step 2: Train from Mestre to Vicenza

    • From Stazione di Venezia Mestre take a direct train to Vicenza - Trains depart multiple times per hour.

    • High-Speed Trains (Frecciarossa / Italo): These take around 32 to 35 minutes. Tickets range from €9 to €20 depending on how far in advance you purchase them.

    • Regional Trains (Regionale Veloce): These take about 1 hour. Tickets are fixed at approximately €7.10 and do not need to be booked in advance, though you must validate your paper ticket before boarding.

  • Option 2: Direct Coach Bus

  • FlixBus: Operates direct long-distance buses from Venice Marco Polo Airport directly to the Vicenza bus station (located adjacent to the train station).

    • This direct journey takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

    • Tickets typically cost between €5 and €12.

    • Note: This service is less frequent, usually operating only a couple of times per day! Remember to check the schedule in advance

MILANO Malpensa

→ By Car: 248 kilometers / 2h 45min via the A4 Highway

→ By Public Transportations:

  • Main Route: Express to Milan + Train to Vicenza

    • Step 1: Airport to Central Milan (Malpensa Express)

      • The most efficient way to leave the airport is via the Malpensa Express train, which departs from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

      • Destination Milan Central (Milano Centrale):

      • Frequency: Runs every 30 minutes (at 13 and 43 minutes past the hour).

      • Duration: Approximately 54 minutes.

    • Step 2: Train from Milan to Vicenza

      • Once you arrive at your transit station in Milan, you will board a direct eastbound train heading toward Venice or Trieste, which stops at Vicenza.

      • High-Speed Trains (Frecciarossa / Italo): These take around 1 hour and 40 minutes. Tickets range from €15.00 to €45.00. depending on how far in advance you purchase them. (Total travel time: ~2.5 hours.)

      • Regional Trains (Regionale Veloce): These take about 2 hours and 15 minutes. Tickets are a fixed price of €16.45 and cannot sell out. You can buy them at the station on the day of travel. (Total travel time: ~3.25 hours.)
